Quite simply because we love dogs - and cats!  We're famous for our Dog Rescue work.  Many of the dogs that we re-home return to visit us in the Boarding Kennels year after year.  It's nice to stay in touch!

History of Babbington Hall Boarding Kennels

Prior to being a major boarding facility Babbington used to have hunting horses and hounds on the site.  This accommodation has now been converted into a large interior-only kennels and is still referred to as "The Stables".

Boarding services have existed at Babbington since 1954; the present owners Tony, Yesmeen and Samantha Sanderson arrived in August 2003. Major improvements have taken place over this period both within the kennels and the customer facilities.

At the rear of the kennels is the only full facility private rescue in the UK dealing with over 1% of the country's abandoned dogs; much of the earnings from the boarding kennels go to support this valuable work finding new homes for dogs from the local areas who are less fortunate than your own.  Most were someone's beloved pet prior to arriving with us.

Staff

All of our full time staff are fully qualified; all qualifications are on display in our reception.  We encourage staff to take relevant courses in order to continue their learning.

Our ratio of dogs to staff is lower than most establishments.
