Boarding FAQs
The boarding kennels are open for drop off and collection 9am to 5pm daily.
Your dog/cat will get regular interaction from staff to ensure they enjoy their stay with us.
Female dogs in season can still board with us.
As a fully licensed kennel we require your dog/cat to have fully up-to-date annual innoculations, plus kennel cough innoculations for dogs at least 10 days prior to their stay. Our staff are fully trained in infection control.
If your dog is nervous our fully trained staff will spend time with them to relax them and to ensure they enjoy their stay with us.
All our kennel blocks are locked at night; all our doors have five lever locking actions and we have CCTV on site, plus our own guard dogs in the central yard.
If your pet requires injections this is no problem; we have qualified staff on site. It will be an additional £2.50 per day.
We can administer all types of medication.
All pets are covered by our comprehensive insurance whilst with us; this covers everything other than pre-existing conditions.
If your pet becomes ill we will endeavour to take them to your own vet or out-of-hours to the Scarsdale Veterinary 24 Hour Hospital.
If your dog/cat is on a special or prescription diet, you can provide this and we will reduce the daily rate by £0.50p.
We will feed your dog/cat its normal diet twice per day.
All dogs/cats are provided with a Tara Bed; all bedding is changed frequently.
Our main kennel blocks are heated through the night to 50o F constant temperature.
Dogs are walked on a one-to-one basis a minimum of once per day; also through our kennelling system they get one-to-one interaction at least another two times per day.
If you want to board more than one dog/cat call us for a quote; we can either board them together in a larger kennel or in separate kennel.
You can bring bedding or toys for your dog/cat but as we change bedding frequently, be prepared for it to get lost in our washing cycle.
